no$gba won't save my emulation settings?

    Whenever I set up the controls or emulation setup, the next time I reopen it, I have to redo all of it, the settings just don't seem to save. And it is getting to be quite a hassle. I currently use no$gba 2.6a (I think that's the latest version). Any ideas on what I should do? Btw, I redownloaded no$gba 2.6a 3 times from 3 different sites, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong -.-

    After you have make any changes to the settings, go back to Options, and choose Save Options.
