no gba won't load pokesav file

Ok, so I figured out how to get a .sav file into the Battery folder.

But now after converting it, editing it in Pokesav Editor, saving it, renaming it to original file name and running no gba it won't recognize the .sav file.

Instead of loading like it should be its going to the new game screen.

What did I do wrong? I did exactly as the instructions said.

I've searched 2 hours for a solution.

I tried everything people suggested, and I have no idea why its doing this.

I'm stumped...

By renaming to original file name, do you mean to rename it to the same name as the rom ?

I never tried this Pokesav thingy so I don't know much to help.
Maybe John has better info than me.
