How do I get the emulator to save my keyboard controls because everytime I restart it, it has changed it back to the default controls. I'm tired of having to change it constantly.

You need to go Options, then Save Options to save them.

    Re: No$Gba v2.6a help (Updated)

Same emulator but different problem. I was playing Castlevania Portrait of Ruin and when I restarted the emulator later to continue playing my save was gone, even though it was there earlier. What the hell???? Why? Sorry for noob questions but I haven't done much playing with NDS emulators. Please help as I really want to play this and other games!!!

Make sure you have the right save type set.

But isn't that little mod that makes it No$GBA2x or something supposed to auto choose the save file?

No 2.6a allows you to choose Auto option for NDS Cartridge Media, 2.6x is an addon.

Ok cool. Thanks. I will play by manually selecting the save type. Thanks for the help.

You know, I've been using no$gba 2.6x in auto select save type modes for sometime now & I never experienced any of the save type errors most people report, I wonder why?

    you've been lucky i guess :p
but it was kinda annoying after I had played for two hours or so in Castlevania only to find my save gone. :'(

That's why I always save as soon as possible and then reset. 2.6x works great with me as well.
