No$gba game saves ---> R4 Ds saves

Hi! Thanks in advance for any clarification you may provide me with.

I've been avidously playing NDs games on a No$gba emulator for almost half a year now, and I'm finnally getting a working R4 for the real Ds.
Allthough I wouldn't mind if I can't, am I allowed to somehow make the save files for the No$ to work in the R4 from the same point I had left them?

I ought to get the R4 this week, so I'm not thinking of progressing the games much further in case the saves are unusable.

 

Why would it's lifespan be limited? Don't all roms work for it as of now? Including the seriously stressfull games for features like the weak, weak 3D engine for the DS (I mean stuff like thorns world from pokemon platinum).

There's only one deal about the R4 vs. Cyclos for me:
- Cyclos - Unobtainable where I'm allowed to get the card from; I don't have any known provider and as far as I know, works as good if not only slightly better than the R4.
As far as I can tell, the guy I will get the R4 from isn't realy one to get fake ones

When I seriously get into searching the whole deal about these two, I find out that most people support cyclos, but have a R4.

So I've decided! I'll just stupidly do like them.



So what if it's discontinued? The No$ seems to be too since there hasn't been an update in more than half a year.
