No$gba Emu and DeSemuME

    I'm running 2 Emus, the two listed in the title, and I can't get ANYTHING to play. I've tried Chocobo Tales, Hamsterz, and Animal Crossing:Wild Wild World so far and have't been able to download anything else. I'm kinda dumb when it comes to fixing things so does anyonehave any ideas of what might be going on?

    NDS emulation really isn't very good at the moment, don't expect games to work, rather expect them to not work and be pleasantly surprised when they do. :)

    Try a game such as harvest moon just to confirm that some games do work.

    Oh But Harvest Moon is a waste!!T_T I own that one. But I'll take any advice, thank you.

    err, i am not sure whether my problem is related... I downloaded spongebob yellow avenger, spongebob saving volcano island and tank blast(something like that) all for nds. I can't play them! they say that the save file is corrupted. it just stops there. there is also something wrong with my pokemon diamond n pearl. the save file does not work. when i select the save file, black screen for very long. HELP ME...

    Pokemon games have to be have to be patched, read the thread in general discussion about emulating pokemon.
    Spongebob might just be one of those games that simply doesn't work.

    that cannot be... i downloaded it from 2 websites... and how about the tanks game?

    Actually its entirely possible, NDS emulation is very much hit or miss at the moment; most games do not work acceptably, some don't work at all. It has nothing to do with where you get the roms from; nor even the rom itself. It is entirely down to the emulators not being very good yet.

    ok... it seems all of them have the same problem: Cannot detect or save game. Turn off and reinsert game card.

    So far the best "need to save" working game i tried is pokemon ranger. I tried brother in arms, completed 5 missions, turned off, and played the next day, discovering the missions i completed were gone.... :( :(

    Okay, I have a question...

    1. My Harvest Moon DS rom works well on DeSmuME but won't load on No$gba. Why No$gba can't play it?
    2. How to save the game? I hav tried the in-game save on DeSmuME but it didn't work. WHen I reload the ROM it keeps playing from the first state and it doesn't give me chance to load the saved game. Why is that??

    try changing the save type in the emulator to get the in-game saving to work

    change on the No$gba to EEPROM 64 and the Harvest Moon DS runs well. But I still cannot save my game =( Could you give me a hint? Is the save type right? I'm not sure though... :( All Harvest Moon lovers out there, please help me... I'm dying to play this game... :'(
