My headphones is acting up, and my bass isn't working. It like has that static when you hear it. Can anyone help me out? I am using Windows XP(old, but better than Vista though)

Here are some of the settings I have put:

    - Bass high, Treble mid
    - Speaker setup: Stereo Headphones
    - Hardware Acceleration: Full
    - Sample rate conversion quality: Best

Do the bass frequencies work on other speakers? Maybe your headphones are the problem. They might not be able to handle the lower frequencies. I have had poorer quality stuff that was staticy/choppy when playing bass.

I forgot to mention that it did work before. My headphones are from Logitech (ClearChat Premium to be specific)

It still could be the headphones that are failing.

Do the bass frequencies play when you use normal speakers?

Yeah, I can hear bass frequencies with normal speakers. I guess it is my headphones.
