Well, I've done everything I can think of but for some silly reason my DVD burner drive has lost its auto run! I even downloaded a little fixer gadget from Microsoft and it's still not working! Could somebody please tell me why?

Right click on the drive under "My Computer"
    Click Properties.
    Click on the AutoPlay tab.

Adjust the settings to what ever it is you wish to do.

Try method two. I believe that's what solved it for me.

You never said what you had tried other than a "Microsoft Fixer Gadget" which normal people would assume is some program you downloaded from Microsoft to try and fix your issue. So we pointed you towards the auto-play properties and the registry locations of the auto-play settings.

These are the answers, if it's not working, then you have not followed the instructions on the Microsoft website correctly.
