No audio help

    Heyy guys well i have a intel integrated soundmax card and have the drivers for it but i only have back sound ports and the control panel always registers my device as plugged into a front port which is non existent so i say ok and all but still no sound any suggestions?

    The computer registers it as plugged into a port? You're screwed.

    it doesnt matter, its just how its wired internally.

    how to correct it?


    and port as in the green circle like this in the middle o o o
    Post Merge: [time]1291529854[/time]
    would a new soundcard fix it?

    speakers go in the green port.

    A sound card would avoid the problem, yes.
