The Nintendogs gamecard came in with my oldest DS, the DS Phat. Now, I've been playing it and I saved. This was on my DSi. Then, I tried rebooting it and all it gave was an error like your card is blocked. ''An error has occured. blah blah'' I tried reinserting the card, and the DSi didn't recognize the card. Then I tried my DS lite, same there. I blowed softly in the slot & the card. My DSi recognized it again, but didn't boot it. My DS lite still didn't recognize it. Basically the card now is a combo of my R4 SDHC and R4i SDHC Upgrade, non-recognized and blocked. DSi firmware: 1.4E Can somebody PLEASE help?
Sorry but I'm confused, is this the REAL nintendogs game or is this on your r4i? If it's the real game, and it's NEVER worked on your dsi, it's a good chance it's a "fake" ds cart, made by piracy peddlers who sell to suckers on market places, it looks real but dsi's block them. If it doesn't work on your dslite ethier, it's possible that the card it's self is busted and refuses to work, have you tried any more ds/dslites just to confirm? The r4i part confused the hell outta me, so it's hard to know what's playing up...does that even work now?
Ok... That means this post can't help Ok, do you know yoshi where it came from? And if inserted into the old ds, does it show anything? (If it's comming up as blocked on the dsi, it could be a "fake" game-I had those, they look real until your dsi stops it from loading )
Re: Nintendogs gamecard help!!!\' And yes, it worked in the past on both my DSi 1.4 and DS lite... Post Merge: [time]1273489553[/time] And I got it included with my DS Phat...
So it...came with it? Stupid question, but what story did this came from? (If it worked on your dsi on 1.3 that's understandable, as 1.4 blocks out alot more, hence those flash cart fixes)
It worked on both 1.3 and 1.4. And yes, it came with it, in 2006, so it isn't that old. I got the DS from my grandparents, for my birthday. My dad setted up the DS, along with the game. I never erased the data on the card. Maybe it's time to do that now...
Blow on the contacts on the card its self. Those may be dirty. If simply blowing on them doesn't work, put a VERY LIGHT AMOUNT of rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and gently wipe the contacts on the card. Use a very small amount of rubbing alcohol though, too much and you'll only damage the card.
I may not get drink on it, or my dad gets angry... Blowing does help a BIT. I noticed holding it down in the slot works, it plays, but then I must push it down all the time when I want to play...
Rubbing Alcohol, not the stuff you drink unless you want to completely destroy your insides. It is the house hold item, not the liquor.
