Nintendo3ds and downloaded games?

    Hi
    I was just wondering if you could run downloaded games on the nintendo3ds like you would with previous ds consoles?
    and do you need to use a r4 or something like that?
    also, can you download 3ds games and run them on a normal ds even though it wont have 3d effects?

    1. Yes, you can play NDS/NDSL/DSi games on the 3DS using a flash cart that can run on the 3DS
    2. There is NOT YET any flash cart in the market that can let you play 3DS roms.
    3. You can't play 3DS roms on a NDS/NDSL/DSi. Its like saying you want to play PS3 games on a PSX.

    With a flashcard (AK2i , Supercard DSTwo , R4i gold 3DS ),you can run DS/DSi/GBA games in your 3DS,only DS mode in your 3DS. You can't play 3DS games because there is no flashcard can help you do it....

    prectorian is right.
    i think 3ds game rom is a long long way to go
