Nintendo Wifi Usb Connector

    Hey Im sorry if this is in the wrong section but
    Does anyone have an example of wut the connector looks like and if it works for the dsi?

    it was discontinued before the DSi came out so it may well not work.

    And i found one cheap and its a black one that has link on it does that one work?

    They were discontinued because they had a tendency to not work well, and to fail.

    You should spend your money on a wireless router instead. You can probably find them at your local super-store for 40-90 dollars depending on what type you get.

    They didn't work well and had severe overheating issues to fear of them catching on fire temperatures got so high.

    Just pick up a cheap $20 router. Got my Netgear a couple years ago for about $25 and it works wonderfully.

    If you use a DSlite, avoid any router that can't use WEP as a security setting. Although it sucks, it is slightly better than no security, and the DS phat and lite only support up to WEP for some terrible reason. DSi can support a few different security formats though.

    But I believe they said to play WiFi on the games you still had to use WEP. The added support for WPA was just for the DSi to go online (internet or DSi Shop).

    At least, I'm pretty sure that's what they said when the DSi was released, I personally haven't tried it. I still have my old Phat DS.

    DSi Enhanced games can use multiple security settings, but DS games in general can only use WEP.
