Hi there, I've got my Buffalo-Nintendo Wifi USB Connector, is there any way of me being able to use this on Windows 7, without resorting to Windows XP Mode?
    Kay thanks!

The included cd with the original connector was xp only, I found a replacement installer for vista on the nintendo america website...

There is a chance that it may not have a windows 7 version, since they kinda want people to use routers more often.

    From the nintendo america website?

They may have made an update, like for vista (I had the xp version, once I got there I found a vista version).

The site would say if it's vista compatible or not, otherwise it's as eb games said to me...

They stopped production and thus no longer supporting the adapter.

I heard it can be used as a wireless router once you use a hacked firmware, but that's only by ear and I have no proof...otherwise game over dude :(

No need for profanity little dude.

Just a simple fact, a router is only about $20 more than the nintendo usb connectors (if you shop in the right places) and has far more uses.

Set up isn't as easy, but once you do you'll be glad you done so :)

    Your 14.

    I'm 22 despite my post here :p

I call those younger than me by 2-3 years little even if they are taller.

And routers are fine, your gonna have the same issues of signal break with the nintendo one anyway because it's nothing but a router made for ds linkage.

I tried, oh well you'll find another way with a bit of practice.

Okay, your computer is probably 64bit (more than 2GB of RAM), and the Wifi Connector doesn't work on 64 bit. I suggest dual booting with a Linux distro.

Yeah it's 64 bit, I'm not too sure about Dual Booting, is it safe? :/
