Nintendo has just blocked flashards on the DSi yet again with the release of firmware update 1.4.1 today. Nintendo's system menu update page says the new firmware provides "behind-the-scenes improvements", but as expected that is really just PR speak for "no more homebrew for you". This is the first incremental update for the DSi in over a year, yet at this stage there does not seem to be any new features for the DSi. Do NOT update! 1.4.1 BLOCKED: FIXED: UNBLOCKED: 1.4.2 To be updated http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/dsi/en_na/systemMenuFeatures.jsp http://gbatemp.net/t252772-nintendo-release-dsi-firmware-1-4-1
Re: Nintendo releases DSi FW 1.4.1 - Blocks current flashcards Anyone with half a brain would know to NEVER update a system's firmware if they are running unauthorized tools and programs, unless they have a new system that has already been updated. My dsi is still on 1.3
Re: Nintendo releases DSi FW 1.4.1 - Blocks current flashcards I updated my PSP's system firmware to 6.00 that time. I guess I don't have a brain?
Re: Nintendo releases DSi FW 1.4.1 - Blocks current flashcards DAMMIT. Now I can't access the DSi Shop.
Re: Nintendo releases DSi FW 1.4.1 - Blocks current flashcards YES. I STILL HAD DSi POINTS. Not everything sucks anyway.
Re: Nintendo releases DSi FW 1.4.1 - Blocks current flashcards Well, once there's a fix, you can get something. I know not everything sucks, but a lot of it does.
