Nintendo dsi XL

    HI EVERYONE. THINKING OF BUYING THE NEW NINTENDO DSI XL CONSOLE, BUT WONDERING CAN I STILL DOWNLOAD GAMES FROM ROMULATION AND PLAY THEM ON THERE JUST LIKE I HAVE BEEN FOR THE DSi??? ANYONE KNOW?!

    Ahem, yes, provided your flash cart works on a dsi of firmware 1.4.


    Dsi XL is just a bigger dsi ::)

    sorry for posting in big caps, lol.....I use the R4 SDHC card. Ok to use??

    Normal DS/DSL flashcarts won't work on DSi. You need to get DSi compatible flashcarts. Eg: Acekard2i, R4i Gold.

    No, your flashcart won't work on the DSi XL. You'll need to get a new one that works on 1.4 like the Acekard 2i.

    thanks for the replies people, and i know someone mentioned the R4i gold, but how about the R4i ??

    Stay away from anything with R4 in it's name.

    Get yourself an Acekard2i, and you won't regret it.

    An R4 will only get you into trouble.

    OBJECTION! I see a contradiction here. You say you have an R4 SDHC yet you also say you have been using a DSi. Did you mean you have an R4i SDHC, because you can't use an R4 SDHC on a DSi at all. If you were using an R4i SDHC and your DSi was on firmware 1.4, then your R4i SDHC should work with the DSi XL.
