nintendo dsi or nintendo dsi xl ? need some help here !!

i don't know whether to choose ndsi or ndsi xl ?

which is easier to run pirated games ??

ndsi xl uses a new gei card which seems very un popular..and maybe not many patches for the gei card. hurm ..

 

They both can run flashcarts just fine.

I am actually getting a DSi XL because I can get $90 off when I trade in my DSi.

I like it for the bigger screens and it will be a lot easier to play some games that are touch-pad only.

What's this gei card you're talking about?

It's a flash card.

I suggest the Acekard 2i with the DSi XL.

It has been proven to be working on the DSi XL.

That is the only reason why I am upgrading to it myself.

You can get that pack if you want, but you'll be having lots of trouble with the R4i.

btw.in the box of ndsi xl.only get 1 stylus pen ?usually got 2 stylus pen for ndsl/ndsi

 

Yes, I would suggest the Acekard 2i for the DSi XL.

Just buy from a trusted dealer as there are Acekard fakes.

I think because the stylus is so much bigger than the others.

It costs more to make them.

 

DSiXL isn't bad, bigger screen and more battery life compared to the dsi.


And get the acekard 2.i, one of the best you can get

btw.is there any other colour for ndsi xl besides white,black,dark red ?

In the US all that we have is Bronze and Burgandy.
I'm getting Bronze myself.

 

Actually, not much water holds these arguments:

-The screen is bigger, but has the exact same resolution as the DSi one.
-More battery life is a relative factor. Most people doesn't even know how to get the full 16 hours of battery life DSi can offer. That's debatable also, since the battery compartment starts a few mm after the lower screen borders, and the XL didn't grew that much to allow more cells on the battery.
-Assuming you got a bigger screen, which is heavier, you could have that same hinge problem again, since it uses the same hinge system as DSi.
-Acekard 2.1 still won't work if you got a 1.4X DSi XL. But it works, since it is the exact same hardware as the original DSi. Nintendo just made it bigger.

 

hey,i just watched the unboxing video of nintendo dsi xl .

and i saw it got 2 stylus pen.
1 is the big ,it was in the box

and the other 1 is small but long and its already inserted in the ndsi xl.
is that a fake or what ?
and i can't see any hole on the ndsi xl to put that big stylus pen .

do u have the pics of the bronze ?

The Acekard 2.1 won't work on the DSi or the XL no matter how hard you try.

No it is not fake.

They have to have a portable stylus somehow.

The hinge may be a problem, but just don't be rough with it.

Every DS' hinges can break if not taken care of.

 

I haven't heard anything about the hinge yet...when it happens I'll note it.

But hopefully it'll be a stronger casing to help stop that-the dslite was weak shell wise.

The DS lite is so flimsy...

I can't stand to play it.

I have a case for it and that should help with falls and the sort.

Just keep your game systems protected and they'll be fine.

I have a case for everything portable device that I own.

The Acekard 2i works for the DSi XL.

My DSi is empty already by saying "Flashcard".
I think I'm getting it from my grandma too... She said: "That one must be in the collection too" where my mom answered on "Maybe for saint Nicholas." soooo....

Anyways, get an DSi XL with an Acekard 2i.

I will be getting an acekard too (as I say to my mom/dad I must get a totally different flashcard for the DSi XL when I get it ).

 

Also, make sure that you have a DS lite or DS Phat around so that you can update your Acekard 2i if it doesn't work on the DSi XL at first.

It needs to be upgraded to work on 1.4 firmware.

 

A pre-1.4x DSi also works as good as a DSL or DS.
