Hello, so i have a m3 simply ds flashcart for my ds lite, but i was having troubles with the ds so i decided to upgrade to the dsi. My question is which flashcart would be the best to get? I havn't used my m3 in a while so im not sure how much everything has changed. Ive read about the acekard 2i a few days ago, but today i seen more flashcarts for the dsi. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of each?

    Thanks

Not sure the pro's and cons-but the acekard 2.i is my best in my opinion.

Not that I have one-I use an older 2.1 (not dsi compatible) but the technology is the same-same firmware as well.

However-I'd suggest getting the latest firmware for the acecard before starting-and if you already got the dsi-what is the firmware-1.4 can prevent flashcards from working-as I'm not sure if the acecard 2.i can by pass that yet-not all flashcards have gotten over that hurdle just yet.

This is why-they are working on it-if it's past 1.4 then you'd have to wait-that means no dsi shop or using the net browser until then.

Then again-I'd never update the firmware of a device that I want working in a way it's not meant to.

Probably either the Acekard 2i, Supercard DSONEi, or M3i Zero, the latter two having their own method of updating the internal loader (easier to get around DSi blocks).

So the M3i Zero and Supercard DSONEi are working with the 1.4 firmware??

Acekard 2i and the few other flashcarts have fixes for working on 1.4 firmware, it's just that Zero and DSONEi have another method to update the internal loader (firmware) without requiring the card to be run on a regular DS/Lite etc. Research them if you have any more questions. ricky, most likely yes, depending on where you live.

You can try the DSi flashcard Hyper-R4i check it at: http://www.zimbio.com/Nintendo+DS+Lite/articles/bQEQT8UTsDq/DSi+flashcard+Hyper+R4i

Then if u think its okay then buy it at: http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.hyper%20r4i
You might see more cards but its the first one its GREEN cant miss it

U can get the kernal at this site (The Official) for every language: http://www.hyper4i.com/index.php

BUT I WILL Warn U IT WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE DSi FIRMWARE 1.4 OR LESS
So dont update ur dsi to the latest firmware! (And the card is new thats good)

    Hope it helped ;)
