nintendo ds repairs

    does gamestop do repairs for the ds ?
    Like L and R buttons, touchscreen and shell

    Should do, you can always check out the selfrepair guide on http://www.gbatemp.net/ somewhere, you probably need the Nintendo screwdriver for the special Nintendo screws.

    my dad will never let me take apart my ds

    Then pay someone else to do it, they are professionals.

    most likely they would send it off to nintendo.

    It'll take a while, they get a lot of repairs from around the world, but you should get a fix as long as the warranty is still around, and because it's the original creators of the DS..

    For the L and R buttons, you could try cleaning under the buttons with something like tape (insert it to stick dirt into it). You could also blow into it (yes, INTO it) by locking your lips around the button and blowing inside the DS. I know, it sounds weird, but I found it on the internet once and it worked like a charm, my L button started working again.

    As much as possible, do not open your DS, especially if you don't know what you are doing. I opened my DS to try to fix my L button, but instead of fixing something, I broke my top screen, and i have no idea what I did. xD
