Hi I was wondering if anyone could suggest any action RPGs for me to play. By action RPG I mean not turn based. Uh these are the ones I have already played.

    Tales of Innocence
    Chrono Trigger
    The World Ends with You
    Children of Mana
    Dragonball Origins
    FF IV
    Dungeon Explorer
    From the Abyss
    Kingdom Hearts
    Castlevania series
    Draglade

Contact is another Action RPG for the DS. I think it's excellent, even though most of my friends think it's crap.

I can't recommend a game where your only way of killing enemies is running through them, and you get hit too.

Thanks for the suggestions but allow me to specify what I am looking for. Action RPGs only. By that I mean not turn-based in ANY way. Megaman Starforce is turn-based when you select what chips you are going to use. An example of an Action RPG would be something similar to Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, Soma Bringer, or Tales of Innocence in which there aren't parts where I choose what I am going to do then wait for it to happen.....while the enemy attacks....*shudders

yeah...I don't think Megaman Star Force is turn-based...you don't choose what you want to do...just the battle cards you'll use in battle. You can just keep shooting with the buster and not care about the custom gauge at all...

Erm... Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV are both turn-based. :D

Lol I just don't want a game where in the middle of the action it abruptly stops and I have to choose what to do. Its kinda hard to explain I guess. In FFIV you choose your attacks but while you do the enemies are still attacking. In Megaman Starforce you can ignore the custom gauge but that kinda takes away the whole game and when you choose chips the battle is completely paused...

That depends, whether you use the Wait or Active setting in the ATB :)

I always thought Action RPGs were where you could run around while in the middle of a battle, and usually lacked a battle transition.

i thought Action RPG's were hack n' slashers with more depth added, and leveling systems put in place

You sure you're not thinking of Ys III(or IV, can't remember which one did that)? I played this one pretty recently and all I had to do to kill something was get in close enough to swing my sword ala zelda style. =/

    okay...okay...in that case...
Stick with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
It's one of the best in my opinion.

    Or Phantom Hourglass.
