I have a Nintendo 64. It's fine nothing damaged or ripped. But whenever i want to play It won't show up on the tv. the red light is on. But no luck. I don't have the three red-white-yellow wires wrong. Or anything but i don't know what's the problem.

    Sorry if wrong Section.

Just fiddle with the game cartridge until it works. Also, try cleaning it with a little bit of rubbing alcohol or finger nail polish remover to get any dirt off of it.

Try wiggling it into different positions and turning it on.

    Sounds dirty. :p

I think the problem is that i just noticed the slot for the games is dirty. I'll try wiggling it too.

    Btw
Why is it that Ace is always helpful or i got too many problems.

dont use nail polish remover to clean electrical contacts, it will eat them. rubbing alcohol is the correct choice.

    Cause I am. :3

And you can use a pen to unscrew the N64 to clean it if you need to.

    I just didn't have alcohol. :p

After your cleaning spree if your still having problems you may need to check your video cable either its gone bad, or the TV ports have.

Yeah i wasn't gonna use nail polish when i have rubbing alcohol.
The tv ports are fine cause my other consoles work on that tv.

    LOL

It can be your console is dying.

Does it show anything when you boot it up without cardridge?
I don't know if it does normally but it might be worth a try.
