Newbie needs help with SAV files

Hi
I am completely new at all this Rom stuff, am doing it as the hubby is never here when the kids want games.

Have done quite a few games that have all worked fine, but over the last couple of days have tried, mario and sonic winter games, ben 10 viljax attack, grand theft auto and something else that I can't remember.

Anyway, on some of them I get -

the save data could not be accessed please turn power off and reinsert the game card

or

the data is corrupted and will be deleted touch the touch screen or press a button to continue

Help, what do I do. we are going away tomorrow and my 7 year old (autistic) son, can't understand that mummy is a dummy and doesn't know how to get the game he desperately wants to work.

Help help help, much appreciated ??? :-[ ???

What card are you using?

 

The links work for me. Try copying and pasting the link instead of clicking directly on it.

 

If it is the R4 original from www.r4ds.com

Then update to YSmenu, It will play all them games unpatched, although mario&luigi BIS will have to be the (U) version only
