Newbie needs help getting this to work(im smart but new to D S emulating)(thx)

Somebody PLEASE take time out to help me I know it is annoying to help out noobs but just this ONE more time? c;


Ok, so I have read so much info in the last hour that I can not process it all. Specially because only about 1/4 is relevent to me specifically.
I need help playing roms on an emulator. I will explain my case now,



Trying to play roms on my PC, not with card on my DS

OS: Windows 7 64x

I have downloaded NO$GBA, along with about 6 .nds roms, well i open NO$GBA and select .nds rom (insert cartridge) the screen is either black or white and goes no further.

I HAVE GOTTEN ONE ROM TO WORK HOWEVER, an older one 2005, The only thing i found relevant to this is something to do with a firmware.bin file, i have downloaded it and placed it in the folder with everything else (emulator,roms) and the others still do not work

Any ideas super geniuss?

I got a version of Sscribblenaughts to work, but none of the .nds games work, oh well,
I have a new problem perhaps you all may help, im about to edit OP to say this also, The centering and alignment during the start up(select game or pictochat) words fine but during the game I need to click alittle bit above where i want to click, and it gets worse as i go further down the NO$Zoomer window. I have tried using "position correctuibg" but to no avial.

Errors: not being able to play, no specific msg.
Games not working: Super Scribblenaughts,Tangled(just random games i dled to see if work ;P)
SystemS
Emulator: No$GBA2.6
Specs: Windows 7 64x single processor 3gb ram memory idk videocard.

You will need a GBA Bios as well.
Also tinkering with your settings will help.

I suggest using No$Zoomer http://www.nogba.com/No$Zoomer.htm

 

Yup, I got Zoomer already from a previous recomendation, Ill try links now,

Where can i get GBA Bios and from http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gba/nocashgba.html seems it is only required in multiplayer.

 

You do realize Super Scribblenauts has AP, do you not?

Anti-Piracy protection.

There is a thread for it, try looking around. Some games have AP protection and thus won't play.
You should try tinkering with your emulation options(F11) I believe, here are mine:







Usually, it's these options that can make or break a game, sometimes all that is required is changing one or two options.

I suggest you do read it, as it will save you heartache later on.

 

I know it has AP, but I do not know if I need to do anything different than I normally would. I have tried with ur settings and also changing them around quite a bit, no change.

 

Something tells me you might be missing a file or two. I have to go unfortunately, but check out meganova's tutorial, I could help if I had more time, but I will be back later this day. I would advice to chill for a bit, we have some of the brightest users I know of. Someone will for sure help you out, and if they do not, send Meganova a PM, he'll respond.
Hell, I might upload my emulator to see if it does work or your compy.

I just know it's something that needs to be tweaked, so keep at it man.

Edit- I meant upload my custom setting to Media Fire, have you download it, and have fun playing instead of trying all this jazz. It took me 20 minutes to get my no$Gba up and working, so it takes time and research.


But I do what I can for a Papa Roach fan. One of my favorites of all time. There's no money, there's no possessions, only obsession, I don't need that shit.

 

If you get a black screen when running any latest DS games on No$gba 2.6a,
the only way to bypass it is to run through the BIOS mode, still if you haven't read the tutorial, I suggest you do so.

Just download the full package at the bottom of the first post, and then follow through the tutorial from top to bottom.
