Newb alert, DS rom on card question from a newb buyer.

So I bought a DS and I bought an R4 card that comes with a few games on it etc etc. If I get the card and a media reader, if the card is already set up.. do I need to do anything other than drag and drop the game contents into the folder to play it or is there something special I need to do.

For instance I bought Pokemon Black. So If I had the game data on the PC, and not on the card, can I just drag and drop the play data into the folder and it should load up as normal?

That is correct, you can backup your save files and delete/copy/edit them.

 

Yes it's as simple as that, but of course if you end up with a game not loading (endless white or black screen), the game has AP and extra steps would have to be taken to get them to load. But of course if it loads up perfectly and saves you're good to go.
