okay, but is this the solution for the 1.4 firmware of nintendo DSI ?

 

Either I'm not doing it right or this doesn't work. I got excited because it is the R4i SDHC that I seem to have (my last firmware is v1.09b) but this doesn't work for me.

I tried putting all of the files on the card. Someone care to help me. I'm desperate to get my DSi up and running again.

 

Is your DSi on 1.4 firmware? Did your R4i SDHC work before with 1.09b?

I can't see anything on the website about the 2.1 firmware being a 1.4 fix, so if that's the issue, I don't think this one will fix it for you. Their site does mention the "R4i RTS" being a 1.4 firmware compatible cart, but it appears to be a whole different flashcart.

 

Yes my DSi does have the version 1.4E firmware. And my R4i flashcart did work with v1.09b before the DSi upgrade.

All my cart says is "R4i" and the website "www.r4i-sdhc.com". If that's any help.

If this isn't for my card, then I'll just have to moan some more. I hope a fix does come for me as I've just purchased the card about 2 months ago.

 

I don't think that card has a 1.4 firmware fix yet.

so am i right in saying that if i put this firmware on my r4i it will then be ok to update to 1.4e???? as so far i havent dare update???
i have a dsi with version 1.3 and a r4i sdhc v1.09b

 

Can anyone upload 1.29 firmware for R4i Gold from r4ids.com? Their download won't work for me. idk.
