new super mario bro. mini game doesn't load

as explained in the title, the new super mario bro. mini game doesn't load, it just comes up as a black screen. i downloaded both european (supremacy) and american (pssyds) versions and its both the same problem.

yeah i recently reformatted my micro sd card (yesterday actually) and it still doesn't load. my micro sd card is also a sandisk yet the problem still persists

 

Do you have the latest firmware for your flashcart (which is still unnamed) ? It has been suggested in the above topic for issues like these.

 

I have an AceKard 2 and i downloaded the most recent firmware (v4.17) yesterday

 

It would be incompatible then. If you'd really want to play it, consider switching to AKAIO (Acekard All In One) alternative firmware.

 

what are the alt. firmware?

thing is, my cousin has the exact same problem with the minigame and he has a R4

 

Usually, that doesn't matter. And yes the Alternative firmware.

 

i found out the problem if anyone in the future has this issue, basically you have to disable the download play and the mini games works fine

I wonder why you have to disable it though?
