:'( But only in Japan. And to those who want proof: http://websunday.net/ranma/ Here you go! 9th of December! I hope a version of it pop-up on Youtube and gets a sub!!!
is it me or they are trying to reboot all the old anime? 1st there is Dragon Ball Kai, then there is New Doraemon and now Ranma 1/2?
A lot of the 80's reboots were awesome.... Iron man 21 80's, Astroboy 80's, Speed Racer Americanized version from the 80's & Kimba the White Lion 80's are the best examples. Some of the 2000 & up remakes are just too dark for my liking. Astroboy 2001 & Cyborg 009 2001 were not fun to watch & the last reboot of Mazinger Z, Iron Man 21 & Getter Robo was too much for me, plus the music used on those reboots are all loud & obnoxious hard core metal Their attempt to make the shows appeal to the younger crowd totally ruined it for the originals' older fan base. As for Sailormoon.... rebooting it to be ecchi would be a good move A_A
In the case of live action conversions.... it's hit or miss. Sailormoon live action was stupid, Detective Conan live action was great, Casshern live action (movie) was killer & Hanayori Dango & its "Meteor Garden" Chinese version was, really, really GAY~! I mean Herbert Garrison doing Mr. Slave gay!. And before anyone reacts, no I'm not bad mouthing gays. Other live action remakes... You are under arrest (sorry forgot its actual Japanese title), was cool. Great Teacher Onizuka (did I get that right?) was cool. Initial D was meh. Super Yo-yo or Blazing Teens in Taiwan (?) was stupid.
Never did like the Anime as well... Jigoku Shojo FTW~! Ah wait, I just realized, Jigoku Shojo & Ghost Hunters were the two last 2000+ era anime I actually liked.
I didn't mind the Death Note LA, i forgot they're making a new one eventually. I only saw a tiny bit of the Jigoku Shouju LA, i loved the anime though. Currently loving Digimin Xros Wars
