Hello! I recently downloaded an ISO from this site and have been having a few problems. The ISO is "Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories." I am using the ePSXe emulator.

Here is the link to the ISO :
    https://www.romulation.org/PSX/Yu-Gi-Oh!_-_Forbidden_Memories_%5BU%5D_%5BSLUS-01411%5D.rar.html/

The game works great and shows the opening movie and start menu, but as soon as I start a new game and enter my name it makes a loud static noise and then stops showing anything else. The odd part is, It's not frozen It just simply stops continuing to read anything no matter what you press. I tried downloading the same game from another site but the exact problem occurred (emulator problem?).

I run ePSXe with Pete's Soft Video plugin 1.18, Pete's DSound plugin 1.9, and Pete's CDR Driver 1.4. I use the scph1001.bin BIOS.

Does anyone know what is wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;D

If you are using the 1.6.0 version, try using the latest 1.7.0 version of ePSXe.

and use the latest available plugins,

I recommend using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver for the graphic,
and ePSXe SPU core or Eternal SPU Plugin for the sound.

I downloaded those plugins and installed them to the plugins folder, but when I try to configure the video plugin, it now comes with an error message that says "This application has failed to start because WNASPI32.dll was not found."
Not sure what this means. Also, when I run ePSXe with Pete's OpenGL2 Driver, it stops the program and says "Missing render-texture extension!"

    Sorry, new to this :p

    Did you use 1.7.0 version?

and which graphic card do you have?
Try disabling the Pixel Shader on your plugin configuration,
or switch to older Pete's OpenGL Plugins(like 1.75 version), or use D3D plugins.

Press F4 when you feel the problem coming on, but I only think you need to do it once
