Apple released a new line of MacBooks. http://www.apple.com/macbook/ The regular MacBooks are aluminum now, and the whole lineup has glass screens, just like the iMac. Oh yeah, and they got rid of the mouse click button below the trackpad.
would buy one but have no use, got the old macoobk, and all i do on it are making my music, so it's pretty much useless =P
So the only way to mouse click is to tap the trackpad?? I don't like macs... Only really useful if you're doing alot of intensive media related work... The mac OS is akward, in my opinion... They're overpriced, not upgradeable(apart from pro) The iMac is butt ugly... Mac pro looks like a beast...but if I could afford one, I'd probably have better things to buy...
They sell the old plastic MacBook for $999.00. I think I read somewhere on Ars Technica that it would be $899 in November. Over here, somewhere on the page: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20081014-live-ars-technica-coverage-of-apples-2008-notebook-event.html
I haven't tried one myself yet, but while I was looking into getting one, one of my co-workers told me it would be a waste to buy one of those. They kick the bucket very easily, and the programs take up a lot of space. They advertise their 250GB hard drive to lure in the people who love a lot of disk space on their computer. In short- They Suck ***.
