New Apple-Product || iPad

OMFG! OMG! It's here the iPad! You can buy it already with 500 bucks. Unfortunately in Germany it'll just sell with a Contract -.-' (as well in other countries)









I think this is a great Product! Keep on rocking!

If I wanted a tablet PC, I would get one from a respected brand. :

 

Tablets came out like 10 years ago! They are soo late. I would rather get a Teblet PC from HP!

 

i can't seem to find one from HP! i search their site and other retailers but can't find Teblet PC from HP, how can compare other Tablet Pc's from other brands?

 

I said that at exactly the same time as the news reporter on ABC Nightly did.

I am not an avid lover of apple....and i think that this is just another way to waste money.

I can already get ebooks on my computer AND play video games AND my netbook is just as portable as the tablet is.

Like i said...Just another way to waste your money on something that you don't need....

Stuff like that. Granted, they're more expensive, but the iPad is barely a computer. Just an oversized iPod Touch.

 

Okay seems like here are many Apple-Haters. Alright, it shouldn't be a PC. Ok look at the Price of the HP thingy: "Starts from 949$".
And the one from Apple "449$".
Ok guys, everyone says Apple's too expensive,- that's right, but if you want Quality you have to pay more! The iPad has a great Software....,which really works.
What will be great with the iPad f.e: Watching Movies in Train, reading Books everywhere, playing many Games (Look at how many Apps there are for the iPhone, although there are many crappy ones)....
The only bad thing so far is that the iPad doesn't own a Camera...

That's a typical Windows Users opinion. Apple has style, quality and functionality, sorry.

 

heheh...I have used Mac, Linux as well, and Windows for a while and i can say that windows is nicer if you get the right distribution. For me, that's Windows 7. It all depends on your taste and preference i guess...but getting cheated out of $1000 for a machine that can't be upgraded is a waste to me.
Try Hackintosh if you wanna be able to upgrade a Mac-esque computer.

the iPad is just a giant ipod touch. if it were a fully functional computer with the capability of having multiple OS', then i could consider it something more than a waste of money.

Okay let's stop flamewaring. Every OS is good for something.
Apple= User friendly (no viruses, selfexplaining OS, nice Interface, Videoediting, Photoediting, Djing
Windows= Playing games
Linux= Servermanagement?

 

Hmm..., yes there are Viruses, but soooooooooo more less than on Windows. (Beside I don't know anybody with Viruses and I'm really active in several Mac-Boards)

Lol, for Videoediting you don't use a MacBook, that would be much too slow. There are MacPro's for that. Whenever you see a (professional ppl) Photographer, people editing Videos, good Dj's it's a Mac. Why?! ;-)
