Hi all, I will start off by introducing myself. My name is adrian, I have a Nintendo 3DS XL firmware Ver:4.5.0-10E. I am not really technically minded and wanted to start to learn to put ROM's on my newly purchased acekard 2i. This is what I have done so far. Installed a 4GB sandisk micro SD into the flash drive and formatted it went to the acekard website and downloaded this AKAIO 1.9.0 firmware file and extracted it to the SD card (but not the TXT files) There was only 2 files which are +aio and akmenu4.nds on the SD card. I then made a file called GAMES then installed my couple of roms on there. When I insert into the DS it comes up with a horse and says PIPPA FUNNELL UBISOFT I click open and then it says "an error has occurred. press and hold the power button to turn the system off, Please reffer to the operations manual for details. What am I doing wrong ? Can someone please point me into the right direction. Thanks. P.S where ids the best place to get ROM's ?

Okay. Sadly, the Acekard 2i doesn't support the system menu version you're on (4.5). It only supports up to 4.3.0-10. You'll need to buy a new flashcard. If you wish to, have a look at this thread. Here of course. As Dark Infernape pointed out, the two places to get them is the main site and the Nintendo DS section of the SHARE board. Well, it does on older system menu versions.
