I bet this would be a welcome breather to the guys who've been working their asses out for members having similar problems with everyone else & posting countless threads all about the same thing.

I don't mean to piss you off guys, I really need some help here:

So anyway, I just got the latest release of Nestopia, version 1.40 which was released last June & there are several minor new things added or fixed in this release, some of them are good, like a new video filter (Nestopia now has 2xSAI as one of its filters, really nice) & it can now soft patch UPS format game hack/translation patches.

Now the very annoying problematic part. They have set the new version so that it can't "initially" recognize four ROM mappers 23, 24, 25 & another which is 186, They say on the manual guide that these mappers' support were removed because of some very technical issues they presented that I couldn't even understand. They did say you can have Nestopia recognize ROMs using these mappers if you have a file or files that contain what they called "PIN wiring information" & direct Nestopia to these files using the new "Database" option in the emulator's "options" menu.

Now my problem is where can I get said files? I don't even know how to properly google search the files in question. I try typing "PIN wiring info for ROM mappers" but I can't get suitable search results.

I really liked the new version as I find that some games that have multiple sprite instances have little to no slowdown, whereas version 1.39 has this minor problem.

I hope you fella's can help out :)
