Low points: Also a bit gullible at times. Primary Weapons: A cracked baseball bat & PSI Rockin' So, who'd you think would win if the two were to fight? Ness would own Ash's pokemon with psi powers. ash would run away to the closest pokemon center, therefore letting ness win!!

Wow that was fast, OK my turn. My vote goes for Ness as well, seeing as PSI Omega pretty much annihilates everything, also his Franklin badge can deflect all forms of lightning attacks Pikachu can dish out if Ash decides to start the battle off with him (as usual). If however Ash decides to use any of his other Pokemon, Ness can simply use his bat to stop the Pokemon summoning. Remember that in order to call out a Pokemon one needs to throw the pokeball first, so with this in mind, Ness can just hit the pokeball/s just like a baseball with his bat before they hit the ground & releasing the Pokemon within. So, no Pokemon, no fighters for Ash so he loses easily. But, if Ash has Celebii, MewTwo, Giratina or Arceus Ness might have a bit of a problem. Or, even a darkness Pokemon might do Ness in, seeing as Dark Pokemon have it over Psychic attacks.
I think you're forgetting, Crawdaunt is immune to Psychic-type attacks due to being part Dark type. Ness would get slaughtered.
Ash would win. No doubt about it. He is flexible because of the different kind of pokemon to cover his weakness and exploit the weakNESS. lol.

Good call johnx This is kinda why Ash sucks as a Pokemon trainer, he sets his older Pokemon free or gives them away like the hippie tree hugger the cartoon wanted him to be.
Yeah. His team really sucks. The Pokemon he captured and left at Oak's Lab are way better than his current team. He's the main character he should use the awesome pokemon.
To be honest, I thought Gary would've kicked Ash's Ass in the earlier seasons because he claimed to have one of each Pokemon at his disposal. But twerpy Ash still got one up on him.
The show is not realistic. In most battles Ash loses at the beginning and then some miracle happens and he owns the opponent's pokemon. Ash would have lost most battles. But since he's the main character they make him win. If you want him to win give Ash some better pokemon.
Come on, we all know Ness would burn him to ASHes while chanting "PK fire!" before he even gets a chance to throw a poke ball.
