Now, now this is about my first Romulation EXCLUSIVE review, unlike where I just post a random review of a Game/Movie on my blog. So anyway Stinger (Twinbee in Japan) on NES (Famicom in Japan)

It's actually a quite good game, even though I'm not quite the fan of these kind of shooters, but games like 1942 and so on I quite enjoy. :-\ But anyway onto the game.

The game starts you off with an intro like any other games, INCLUDING Breakout. You'll notice (If you've played Mega Man) Dr.Cinnamon the guy your trying to save (From aliens *Cliche*) looks alot like Dr Wily.

Which as it is, is not by Capcom. Anyway you start off just randomly shooting...Tomato's? Yes, Tomato's the evil kind that float in the air going in a wavy line. To add on to the fact of it being Japanese-like and all has hearts as the missiles to shoot upward.

So we're fighting evil tomato's AND FIGHTING IT WITH LOVE? To add onto that there's more different wacky Japanese Characters.

Enemies would be Cheerios, Tomato's, Lettuce, Green Pumpkins, Cinnamon Rolls, and Little Purse Looking things that shoot at you. To add to that clouds can sometimes block your view of shooting by sometimes if you were to shoot a cloud a bell would pop right out of it giving you a better gun upgrade by shooting at it with the hearts or bullets.

So anyway as you get to the first boss the screen starts to flash which tells the seizuristic to not play the game due to this.

Being that the boss turns to be a giant Watermelon going off of the whole wacky Japanese kind of thing. It's main attack would be just shooting Watermelon seeds at you.

So, anyway after you beat the first boss you go to the next stage, the underwater/overwater/water stage.

Now this stage isn't having AS much wacky Japanese enemies. Such as Flying Starfish, Flying Jellyfish, Flying Fish, and Turtles. Now being as the Turtle in the stage might be a little lonely for him due to all the other enemies having the ability to fly.

While all the while killing the innocent underwater creatures, Level's pretty basic, music is just a different song, overhead view, different enemies, and a different boss.

Stage 2 boss = Flying Rock Monster

Pretty much you just defeat this boss by shooting him straight to the mouth. Which is pretty easy if you dodge the spears he shoots at you.

    Stage 3 = Desert Level

Only enemies here would be Flying Razor Blades, Boots, Coat hangers, even Close pins make it into the enemy mix of the stage, Egyptian heads, and 7up Spot/Cool Spot heads shooting at you

Stage 3 boss = Flying Pipe Monster

Pretty much you just dodge/shoot the bubbles he throws at you and shoot him at the mouth.

    Stage 4 = Snow Stage

Because we all know good games have Snow Stages/Levels correct? The enemy's of this stage would be Otters, Helicopter razor blades, heads shooting at you, wheels, phones, tea sets, and TV's?

Stage 4 boss = Flying Thing Monster

It's the same thing as the last two bosses shoot at the mouth and avoid the projectile.

Stage 5 = Same thing as underwater/overwater/water stage.

Enemy's are Hammers, 7up spot heads, Goomba like things that shoot at you, and Volley Balls.

Stage 5 boss = Flying Boombox Monster

Just shoot at it, and avoid the music notes.

    Stage 6 = Some City

The enemy's here would be flying cars of some sort, bees, moths, ninja's hiding in the forests, and turrets

Stage 6 boss = The sun

Quite the same method as the other bosses, just harder.

Last boss = That dragon thing from Space Harrier.

So pretty much that's what the whole game is about just shoot/dodge/repeat. Now being a quite good game, with some 1942 elements, upon other games of the sort elements, it's a quite boring/awesome game. The game also has pickup items that can help you in the game like moneybags, a Japanese head (In the Desert Level) and of course the bells that hide in the clouds. There's also atleast one misspelling in the game (It occurs during the bonus stages) Right when the bonus stage starts the intro to it says "LET'S GO BONUS GAME" and that's pretty much about the only misspelling in the game since there's pretty much no cutscenes in the game unless you count the intro to the game where Dr.Cinnamon gets kidnapped by the aliens. Now then on with the ratings of the game.

Controls: Pretty decent just up/down/left/right shoot 9/10

Fun Factor: Pretty fun if you have nothing to do and need something to satisfy you for about 30 minutes. Get's pretty boring after doing the same thing though 6/10

Graphics: Pretty basic graphics, MINDBLOWING for the time though. But brings nostalgia due to it being a NES game. 9/10

Sound: Basic NES sounds and NES music. 8/10

Replay Value: This is pretty much just a game you play a few times and beat it. 4/10

    Total Score: 36

Putting your words into pictures eh?

I think I like your style, but there is a standard format, one that involves a weighty text content. You did provide a proper rating system though. Here's the guidelines you should follow in making reviews, if you haven't read them yet.

Anyway I must comment though, as I am an ardent NES, or in my case a FamiCom officionado.

The Doctor you need to save is named Dr. Cinnamon, The names Twinbee & Winbee don't actually refer to the ships, they're the name of the pilots inside them & the Japanese title for this game is Moero TwinBee: Cinnamon Hakase o Sukue!

And being an 80's kid, this game was one of my favorites 8)

So all I have to do is just do over a paragraph, no swearing, etc.?

Your score actually adds up to 45 and not 43. It also appears to be out of 60. You also need a lot more writing.

Yes tone down the swearing a little. It would also be a good idea to go through some of the other guys' reviews to get a feel on how RomUlation reviews are written, especially the ones by 9ninebreakers9.

A slightly less comedic attitude would do good, it seems more like you decided to review this because it would allow you to act silly instead of because you wanted to tell us what you felt about the game.
