Hi, I remember that when I got my first psx I got two games with it. One was a very strange disk. First the cover. The part on the top was an image of donkey kong 64. The other was an image of some Mario Party. So me and my sister started it up. And there was´nt just 2 games. About every nes game I can think of right now was there. And all the games worked. Well most did. I came to have many of these disks, some differing in interface but mostly had the same games. The only issue I can think of is that it was impossible to save. Anyways, today I understand this...this...thing was a work of emulation. And it made me wonder. Ol´PSX is still working, so is it possible to put some emulator in a disk and make my PSX read it?
I'm guessing you're from Asia, 'cause I have those too & they're illegal pirated discs, really. But onto the topic, there is an NES emulator for the PSOne, but its author quit working on it, google search (ItMightBeNES)
Mexico, actually. You'd be surprised of the amount of piracy you can find here. And I haven't heard of any raids here.
basically, if you want to play on a PSX, you have to burn it onto a disk at the slowest speed possible.. but it's cheaper to use on teh computer
http://imbnes.gamebase.ca/ is the emulator you would want, it's gone open source now. You'd need a chipped playstation to play it though. Or you could just use the old swap trick.
