Ive downloaded a few versions (mvpsp2.3.1 1.5 kernel and race psp 2.16) and when I tried to play the roms. Nothing. I left the roms zipped and put them in the rom folder. Any ideas on the latest NEO GEO for PSP 1000 series (phat PSP)? Back to Google. Thanks.

    Use MVSPSP2.3.1

You could be missing the NEO-GEO bios file, since that's what they need to read MVS games, try googling for neogeo.zip.

Thanks v3...I did download it and set it up but, get the message" Requires PSP 2000 + FW 3.71 M33 or later" ? Currently I'm using 5.50 Prome-4 on a fat PSP 1000 series. If I do update will this affect my other emulators on my PSP? Also. my current games?

Ok..Got it up and running but, for the 1 or 2 roms Ive downaloded ..when its loading it says that there is not enough cahce and that it needs to create it? I saw on Goolge that there is a program already installed with the emulator that will create it? Where do I find it on my PSP? Also, will it take up a lot of space on my memory stick?

There's a cache maker included in the older releases of MVSPSP. When you cache a rom file, the cache file would be the same size of the rom, making the game twice as large, but it won't have to load as much.

The files you need should be in the folder named "romcnv" inside the mvspsp zip you have. Open it and you should see stuff like this.

Run romcnv_mvs.exe and select the rom that you need cached.
