neo geo emulators.

hey people. i downloaded metal slug 1 and 2 from the neo geo section at romulation and i tried two different emulators that run neo geo: kawaks and nebula, both from emulation-zone. but i can't play the games. the first thing i did was extracting the files. first i tried nebula. i opened it, then chose my settings then ok. after it nebula opened. then i clicked ''emulation'', ''load rom'' and a window with lots of games appeared. i searched for metal slug 2 and i selected it. then another window appeared saying that a lot of archives were missing. then below was ''continue'' and ''yes'' or ''no''. whichever i selected it would close everything. then i started kawaks. i clicked ''file'', ''load game'' and a window with a lot of games appeared. i searched for metal slug 2, then clicked it then a window appeared saying that it couldn't find a bin file for the game, error. what can i do?

 

I used to use win kawaks and it worked fine for me but to be honest someone else set it up for me, you can use MAME to run neo geo I do believe.

Thanks for mentioning MAME, Vattic. MAME will run most Neo-Geo roms with the zipped BIOS file. I am unsure if Romulation will let me link you to BrainKiller's BIOS files, but I would try there. (Just Google it.) The only thing MAME is still running sketchy is Hyper Neo-Geo 64 ROMs. I am sure MAME will run both Metal Slug 1 & 2.

 

Try neoRage. Google it. Very good neogeo emulator.
