    Well alright, well my problem is I can't seem to get Gundam Battle Assault 2 working, of which I just downloaded a little while ago. I had unzipped it with WinRaR and got 2 files (.bin & .cue).

    I had followed the directions earlier on how to convert to an .iso using the same files this thread:

    https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php/topic,390.0.html )

    I had done this to R-Type Delta, and it worked, just minus the bgm. :p

    But now I've run into a snag with this, after I convert them to ISO, using UltraISO btw, I would load it, but nothing would happen. Just a black screen. The emulator I'm using is epsxe (v1.7).

    Any advice or help would be much appreciated. I apologize in advanced if I neglected any important information, just let me know.

    converting image files often doesn't work. ePSXe can open .bin files, so try loading straight from the .bin.

    Hmm...well I tried the .bin like you said, it ran. which was a good thing. However, after the first stage it crashed. Then I tried running the .cue, which also ran, but again died right after the first stage. The only difference I found was that when I initialized the .bin, during the intro the music would come out funny. For the .cue (which contains the music for the game) sounded a lot better.

    Oh, when both crashed I got this error...

    .bin

    SPEC Opcode 3f UNK (PC 0C00C08c) (0D00D080) (10075, 0)

    and for the .cue

    SPEC Opcode 3f UNK (PC 00C00C8c) (00D00D80) (8943, 0)

    Dunno what it means, but does this familiar to anyone? o_O;

    Thanks for the reply, btw. :)

    The .cue doesn't contain anything.

    Well, I sort of figured it out. I was looking around and found something interesting. Some people who had the same problem as mine, or related to it just used v1.6 to solve the problem. I thought it was odd, but since I had no other option I went with it. This time, I tried opening the .bin file like you suggested before Looney. It worked fine after that, no crashing. :D You would think that the more recent version would be able to play it, but turns out not in this case. Haha.

    So right now everything seems to be more or less stable, but I can't be sure of it. I tried merging the two into an .iso and it was a no go, so it looks like it will be fine for now. If anything happens I will probably be asking again. :p
