Hello, normally this wasn't an issue, but since I got windows 7 I've had an issue with it...

In perticular the plugin for flash player working on firefox, everytime I try to install it, it keeps telling me it's failed to install.

Possible reason, we tried installing alchol 120% (cracked) and caused a blue screen (something to do with the file is) and we rest it...

Not only that, but accessing the plugins installed (so far just ad block-just testing for now) listing it freezes, windows doesn't detect it's frozen but the fact is I can't move the window nor use it.

Should I re-install iwindows 7 or just firefox-and what could be suggested-I can't even disable the plugins because of this :(

The latest of course, I've had some "professional" help :p

If the laptop didn't blue screen while installing alchol 120% I wouldn't be here, it was fine before then.

    You mean the developer one?

I'm not sure if it stable or not...

Um...no...obviously we lost track of each other.

Anyway, I found the causes after re-installing firefox (3.6...I think...didn't care the number...)

Turns out my new anti virus ESAT was blocking the install...so I killed esat's active protection for now :)

Now to get ad-block back...thanks anyways meganova...(why would I use something that is for developement...)

Try reinstalling Windows 7. The Blue Screen Of Death is REALLY BAD. It's a no no. Probably it's fucking your comp. I always say ''When You Get The Blue Screen Of Death, FORMAT'' ;)

1st of all, it happened 3 times during original install of 7 and we worked out why.

1.Mates thought I wanted XP on a vista laptop :(

2.They tried it again, at this point I realised wtf they were doing!

3.A cracked version of alchol 120% that had been known to be tempermental caused this.

That last one forced us to revert settings back, basically I've only lost ad-block.

And rock...you might as well skip the windows 7 re-install and just do the full format instead, to me that's just as effective as your solution...it's a shame I lack the install disc...nor do I have the download power to update the drivers again!

That require downloading, of which I can't really do with my crappy net.
