need rom download help.

    im new to roms and downloading them, so i need help. i can't get emerald, sapphire, golden sun, or anything else i download to work. the only games that seem to work are gameboy. im not even sure if im downloading them right. please someone help. and if this is in the wrong forums thing, im sorry.

    you need winrar (www.rarlabs.com) to extract the roms before they can be played
