Need Parts for a $1000 PC

    Hi everyone and Merry Christmas :D

    Anyways, I need some specs and parts for a new PC that I will soon built (yes I know how to built/fix PCs). It's just that I don't know what parts I should get. Everything has to be $1000 (Canadian, not USD or any other dollar) or less because that's my budget ::)

    My main usage of this PC would be gaming and editing. Everything else (such as browsing the Internet) can be done with any PC, even the crappy one that I have right now.

    DO I want it to look cool? Hell yeah! ;D

    I was thinking of a Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower ATX

    AN Intel or AMD Quad Core (i5 or Phenom X4 Black Edition)
    At least 4 GB of DDR3 RAM
    1 TD Hard Drive
    1 GB of GDDR5 on the Graphics Card

    Everything else such as the motherboard, etc. you guys choose.

    AFAIK only ATI cards use GDDR5.

    a Phenom II x4 is considerably better than an i5.

    yeah, and cheaper too. BTW, is a hexa-core needed (maybe?)
