How do I format the micro sd memory stick. I messed up and totally destroyed all of my files and when I deleted everything it still says I only have 3.23 mb. left. PLEASE HELP ME!! I am using a Mac. Ibook OSX. PLEASE HELP.
formatting under MacOS is called initializing. You do this by using a utility called disk stetup; however you need to do a custom initialize and use FAT32 format instead of HFS
How do I get to do a custom initialize? I am at the disk utility section and it does not give me an option to custom initialize. Do I erase it or something. Please help me again.
select the SD card in the disk utility, then click initialize. The following screen should have a custom initialize button.
I have the disc utility, but there is no option to initialize. Can you give me the download for it please?
its part of the OS, so no download. I'm not familiar with OSX I'm afraid, our Mac only has system 7.5 currently We have a Mac running OSX Panther on order, so I'll be more help once thats arrived.

Eeeeehh, I called and they can't help me with it because they do not know how to format memory cards. I was wondering if I could just go to a friends house who has a pc and just format it on their computer. Would it still work on my comp?
I was searching around and I found help! It works now and I tried the games and it works. Just sucks that I lost my Final Fantasy 3 save and Etrian Odyssey save (took forever to get to level 20s). Oh well at least it works. One more question though, how do I do backups for saves? Do I just drag a save file onto the desktop?
Yeah, simply drag it to the desktop or to a folder and drag it back to it's original position once you've formatted the card.
