Need Help!

    Both my kid's R4 cards have stopped working... they freeze when you try to play them. I have saved the games/info onto my computer, formatted the card and then re-loaded the set-up info and a game or two at a time, but with no luck. I also thought about putting on a new game from Romulation only to find that you can't download DS games any more. Does anyone know how to fix this and does anyone know of a good place to download games?

    As for the freezing issues, may I know what game it is? I suggest you upgrade your R4 to Wood R4 as it is a good firmware that suits the R4 to a 'T' ;D Below is the thread to Wood R4 ;D

    What games freeze, and do they freeze when you try to start the game or does the R4 freeze when you try to turn it on?
    What firmware are you using, is your R4 original, or a clone, (What is it's fully name, SDHC, III, Upgrade, etc).

    Hi guys, it's the whole card that freezes not just a particular game. Both cards had the same game put on at the same time and broke down around the same time, so I deleted the offending game (or what I thought was causing the problem) and then went through the formatting process etc. Both cards are Micro SDHC (then a 4 with a circle around it!)

    Unnique ninja gave me some advice but when I got to the web page he suggested I was lost!!! I can only apologies but I know nothing about these things especially the technical side of things!!, so please be patient with me lol!

    We have had the same problem with our cards. For some reason you need to take out the card, switch on your ds go to the date setting and change the date to the 1st of the month. Apparently there is a glitch with the date being on or around the 14th of the month. Don't ask me why, but doing what I have said should work; it did for us.
