My router's (D-Link) security settings are WPA2 and the WPA mode is WPA-PSK and it doesn't work with my DS Lite (or my Wii), I tried changing the security settings to WEP but after I tried putting a new WEP key in it screwed up, I checked in network settings and it said that the settings were incorrect or something, so I changed it all back to what it was before and now my internet works fine. Also, I was following Ultimate-Sonic-3000's tutorial, when it got this part; "Then select the Network Key to, "2" and make up a 13-character password for a 128-bit WEP encryption (If it's 64-bit then it's 5 characters)." It screwed up after I made a password for the encryption. I really wanna play online on my DS so doe's anyone one know how to properly configure the settings?
Re: Need help with Wi-Fi settings it sounds like whats happening is your computer is using wireless (WPA2 secured) and when you change to wep it loses the connection. you should be connected via a cable any time you change router settings.
Re: Need help with Wi-Fi settings Never mind. Just got it working, turns out I only had to restart my computer...
