need help with running robopon [GBA]

i downloaded both robopon games (gba) but when it comes to the start menu, the screen goes blurred, and when it comes to battle the screen goes black.

can anyone tell me how to solve this, please?

 

I'm guessing you're using No$GBA to play them.

Stop, immediately. Just use VisualBoyAdvance.

I just downloaded Robopon 2 - Ring Version to test it out.

I'm using Visual Boy Advanced 1.7.2 and I can start a new game, and I get to the point where I collect the first two batteries and make a Robopon, and when I enter the menu to add parts to my Robopon, the game glitches and sits there with random colored blocks.

(Just added to let you know that others are having problems too, not just you, Vampire.)

 

That's a beta so don't be surprised if it too doesn't work. But surprisingly the beta 3 works wonderful.

 

That's what I was telling you guys before when I once posted that there is something wrong with the copy of both Robopon games here on RomUlation. The ones RomUlation has are badly dumped copies of both games, when extracted, they extract to 4mb, where as the good ones extract to 8mb because the game is supposed to be 64Mbit in actual size.

I can confirm that the Robopon ROMs hosted here are corrupted. Something is missing causing them to crash.

Both extract to roughly 4MB each. The correct dumps are roughly 8MB each.

Playing the correct dumps eliminate any crashing during the menus and battles.

I have the correct files downloaded on my PC if you want me to host them in the trading post to get?
