need help with r4 skin change

sry if this is in the wrong place an all

but

i need help finding where i can change the skin in my r4, now from wat i have read its somewere in the system folder but i see no such thing in mine, i'm getting rely bored of the basic 1 that it came with

 

www.ndsthemes.com is likely the best themes website around. When you download the compressed file, make sure after you extracted everything, put it in the folder named themes01 then put it in _systems_\themes (if it doesnt exist, create it) on your microSD. If you want to put multiple themes, name the second folder themes02, themes03, and so on...

Uhmm... You don't use the official R4 patch so I don't really know... What's inside the SYSTEM folder?

 

well i got this off the r4 website, and it seems to be the only 1 that works, other wise when i load the r4 it can't load the menu,

You didn't make the themes folder (tutorial linked above) ? What particular R4 do you have (check on the box if you still have it) ?

i stated the firmware above and i tryed ur thingy but it didn't work and i still have the r4 case, its annoying cuz when my friend got my r4 when he was putting games on it for me he deleted the orginal menu stuffs, and i only found out the other day which 1 that was (English_v1.24) Dl'ed FROM here: http://www.r4new.com/download-en.htm or thats where i fond the same 1 not sure where he got it from...

this is the case for my r4 i just borrowed the pic they alredy had at above web site cuz its the same

ok from looking at that linfox site looks like it's a "unique loader" ugh thats stupid in my opinion but guess nothing can rely be done... thanks anyways an sry for being such a pain

 

The tutorial should still work fine on that then. If not, then look amongst your firmware files to see where they keep the default theme files.
