need help with posting my tutorial as a thread and other things

ok so i just completed my tutorial (with screenshots) but one problem is. its 10.6 mb . another problem is i dont understand how to convert bitmaps to .gif,.jpg, or .png format. and yet another problem (as you can see i didnt do any research on posting it in a forum) i dont understand how to put it together in the start new topic area.. ive sank about 2-3 hours into making this thing and would hate to "dumb" it down to be able to post it. other comments: this is my first time making anything like this and honestly i think it looks pretty damn good...another question even if i cant post it in its entirety here would i be able to post a link to it for a site like geocites or something?

or use photoshop or MS paint.

Also to post the tut here just make a new topic and cut and paste it, use IMG tags around your image links to add the images. Post the topic into general discussion and ill get someone to move it to the tuts section for you
