need help with NDS roms

    i cant play on wifi through my NDS roms on my flash card, but i can play wifi on the original versions of some games i bought. Does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks in advance

    cycloDS, and i have the latest stable firmware (1.41 i think)

    is 1.41 still beta?

    if not then im gonna have to update.

    check wireless settings, hotspots and make sure you are close to the source of the connection.

    also, WFC might be down or weak. (it always is, and it likes to disconnect every 3 seconds while im trading)

    the thing is, wireless works perfectly on my bought DS games, but not the roms. when i try to connect (when playing the roms) it just never shows any signal (the bars are always red).

    hmm that's odd.

    maybe its the firmware.

    redoing the firmware might help.

    and did you download a beta?
    if so, what version beta? v1, v2, or v3?
    it should say 1.42bx, x being the version number [1,3]

    edit: it IS 1.42b so update to that.

    ok thanks, ill try that.
    ALso, does anyone know if maybe its something to do with the roms? i download them off a website. COuld that have something to do with the wifi?

    It's rarely the ROM itself if you get one of the proper group dumps. Exactly which games are you having issues with? (if all which games have you tried)

    I used a CycloDS to beat my brother in pokemon just the other day. (He'll never say my half-finished game pokemons couldn't beat his again :p)

    lol. i didn't think anybody battled with their storyline pokes. (storyline, i mean ones that you use to get through the game)
    they really do give you a poor selection to choose from.

    i updated to the 1.5 beta ( i couldn't find 1.42b) and it still doesnt work. The games of tried that are roms (that dont work online) are mario kart, castlevania POR and metriod prime hunters.

    try animal crossing.

    i use that one to test online functionality.

    remind me not to update to 1.5 then.

    Mario Kart is the best game to test online with. 1.4x is not beta anymore. Try using older firmware, if that doesn't work, wait for a new one. Cyclo has some bad

    another reason why i never update right away.

    remember what happened to all of the ps3 guys that updated their firmware?
