Use the celebi event rom on a different flashcart and send it over to your game

Thanks for the help. I am attempting to help my son out (don't know much about Pokemon) and don't really follow what you said. Could you put your comment into Old person terms? Thanks.

Ah, um, i can try lol.

There are Event Distribution roms. In order to use them you need 2 flashcarts and 2 DS systems, the Event rom is an .NDS file like all Nintendo DS Roms, you put it on your flashcart and go to it like a normal game. If you only have 1 DS and flashcart, you can use the pokesav program to put celebi on your save file but i don't think it would work for Events. You can also use a flashcart to send the celebi to your normal game if you have a legal cart.

Sorry its very hard for me to explain things >.<

Basically there is a rom (which I assume is in the share section somewhere) that is a distribution event where the sole purpose is to send this pokemon out.

Using another flashcart and another ds, wirelessly send the pokemon out.

I must also explain, celebi the pokemon cannot be found in the wild in any of the pokemon games, it's an event pokemon, if you watch your local nintendo website from time to time you might find other rare pokemon that you can download/go to a shopping centre or something and download that pokemon for free.

You can also do this with just one DS system and Pokesav, but the entire process requires Pokemon Platinum (the ROM) and a Pokemon Platinum game save that is able to receive Mystery Gifts.

It gets complicated because the people who designed Pokesav for Heartgold/SoulSilver didn't bother to put in the Mystery Gift editing function, therefore, you have to use Pokemon Platinum to edit Mystery Gifts.

I have a Mystery Gift guide somewhere on the forum...
Again, it is pretty complicated for new users.
But all you need is the .pcd and .pgt file of Celebi (which is really easy to find on the internet), Pokesav for both HG/SS and Platinum, both Platinum and either HG or SS ROMs, and a single DS system.

In a nutshell, you do all of the dirty work on Pokemon Platinum, save it, and take the end result and Pokesav that into HG/SS.

If you want, I can upload the GAMESTP Celebi event .pkm file that I have. It's competition ready.

Has the third set: Nasty Plot.
It's Modest, has Hidden Power (Fire), everything else is standard according to the set.

If you want a legal untrained one, I can get you one of those in the form of a .PKM file.
Nothing at all will be altered, IVs and Nature will be completely random.

Go to the section Wondercards, and you'll see exactly how I did it.
Legal.exe says it's hacked but that's because it's a new event and new events aren't added to the Legal.exe's database.

If that weren't the case, it would probably say Mystery Gift (Dynamic) instead of (Static), which is a clear giveaway that it is indeed hacked, but you shouldn't be in that situation where someone has to examine a .PKM file.

Being that everything else is legal besides its PID, it appears to be legit by looking at it and the only way to tell is to run an updated Legal.exe (which is nonexistent), which no one does unless they get their hands on the pokemon, or its .PKM file.

Yeah, no point in trying to find a viable legit one since all you're going to get are hacked ones or ones that have been duplicated over and over.

The best answer to give someone if they ask if it's legit is "I don't know." You got it in a trade.
The odds of actually obtaining what you have is ridiculous. To have the right nature, with virtually perfect IVs (attack IV needs to be odd and not divisible by 4), and have Hidden Power Fire is way too unlikely to exist.

Sometimes I wonder why smogon or any other site for that matter has these sets available for events...
