I have just bought an acecard 2i and a DSI XL. When I try to run the acecard it doesn't work. It says "loading" then "System file is missing". How do I get this to work? Any help would be much appreaciated
If the DSi XL isnt on 1.4 already update the acekard 2i to the new fix first, just in case you didn't know
The Acekard will not run whatsoever on a DSi with firmware 1.4 without running the update (and running the update requires you to run the Acekard). The Acekard must be flashed with the DS Lite updater. Meaning you must borrow a DS Lite from someone and run the DS Lite Updater on the Acekards while they're in the DS Lite. Once they're both flashed with the new update they will both work on the DSi.
Sounds like you just haven't got the firmware. Did you put the system files (firmware) on your microSD? There should be the relevant links and info in UniqueNinja's link. @Clint Eastwood an alukado, it doesn't seem like that's the problem. If casper1910's DSi was on 1.4 and his Acekard wasn't flashed, he wouldn't get as far as the loading screen.
