hey guys, i have used this site before yet when i downloaded roms this time for my r4 the files have somehow managed to disappear any idea where they may have gone or anyone faced the same problems i know this sounds clumsy on my behalf but hey ho lol so please help thanks xx
Your microSD card may be corrupted, if you still can, backup all your save files and games and reformat your card.
I think CSL00 is confused (or I am). You're saying that you download the files to your PC, but then you can't find them, right? If so, CSL00's suggestion won't help. Have you recently started using some different antivirus software? Sometimes they can quarantine files that they think are viruses, but aren't really. It should be in the program's settings somewhere. If not, then I don't know where they are.
Did you use any download manager when you download it? Maybe you forgot where do you save it on the computer..
My suggestion was directed to someone who had placed the roms on their flashcard (r4 in this case). I don't disagree at all since the possibility he had lost his files still on his PC didn't even occurred to me. Some anti-virus really do overreact to compacted files (rar, zip etc), if it is the case you'll have a hard time recovering them, it is best to make a folder (on your desktop for easy finding) go to the anti virus control panel, add this new folder to exceptions (for the anti virus to ignore it's contents) and re-download your games to that folder.
the best card to get is the AceKard2i this works in the Ds, DS lite AND DSI if you are using a DSI and using the internet on it youi will need to put the 1.4 firmware on to it. have have 2 of these card they are the best i Highly recommond going for it. BUT if you r not going to go for a Acekard2i BECAREFULL about the FAKE cards there are alot out there. THERE ARE NO FFAKE ACEKARD 2i that i no of. so go for it.

mmc posted in the wrong thread I think. I think he/she/it meant to (and did) post here. And matty999555 is right too.
