My computer is STILL running shitty, i have done scan after scan after scan T_T
The tech at school said to run rootkit revealer, which will not load at all, it starts the process and creates the random name in the TEMP directory, though won't work =/
How can i get it to work for one, and what else should i do to search for rootkits?
Any other options for me to do? i've scanned with the following..

    1. Malwarebytes
    2. SuperAntiSpyware
    3. ESET smart security 4
    4. Clam AV
    5. Windows Defender

If none of these find anything, i assume rootkits..i don't really wanna format, because i don't wanna install everything again =/
Another reason i assume rootkits, is because i'm lacking resources (being used up), and there's nothing hogging me resources in tack manager processes...
any recommended scanners, any way to find rootkits, and any way to get rootkit revealer to work is appreciated!

it seems as though everything you have done has failed, the only other option I see is to reformat

    @Ryan P.: Viruses, Malware & now Rootkits?

You seem to have a lot of nasty stuff on your system my friend :(

I take it you go to a lot of porn & warez sites?

Anyhoo, you should go to online computer disinfection & data cleanup sites/forums like thebleepingcomputer.com or majorgeeks & ask for their assistance. That app loony told you about (gmer) is not an app in-experienced people like us (you & me, not loony) should be fiddling about with carelessly.

I've been to those two sites I mentioned & a few others like it whenever I hear about & research very bad virii & malware like the vundo virus or Crypt.Pak.tr trojans. The people in those places really know their stuff & can be trusted :)

Or as loony said, you could do the easiest work around yet, a full system re-install.

    Warez, but not porn :p
And i guess it's probably not a rootkit, i got a standalone program, and it didn't find anything =/ my issue is, my RAM is being ENTIRELY used up, it's always up real high for what's in use =/
I checked processes, and nothing was using it all, so it's gotta be hidden, and no scans turn anything up, that's why i though about rootkits =/
Anyways, i'm getting a new computer in a bout 2-5 days, so fuck it for now..

Well there you go, see this is why seph & loony put up "that no warez discussions on this forums" rule, because they know all too well the dangers of going to sites that deal with, approve the use of & offer downloads to such content. So the blame is ultimately due to your own doing.

And getting a new computer won't help if you'll still go to such places in the future, just my two cents though.
